Purpura is a systemic vasculitic disorder which not only affects kidneys, but also other parts, such as skin, joints, gastrointestinal tract and other organs. Patients with Purpura have a poor or abnormal immune system.When virus or bacteria attack the body, the immune system releases extra or failed antibodies which combine with the harmful substances in the blood. White and Asian children are more often to develop Purpura nephritis than black children are. Boys are more likely to develop the disease then girls.Purpura Nephritis symptoms vary from person to person.The disease is more common in children and young adults, with the majority of cases happening in young children between 4 and 6 years of age. Purpura Nephritis happens rarely in summer and mainly in other 3 seasons.High blood pressure, Stomachache, Joint pain, Rash, Edema and some other symptoms can be found.
